Cyber Security Training Series: Attack on Internet

Registration is closed.

The WVPCA and Online Business Systems have partnered to bring you a 5 -part webinar series on Cyber Security. This series will prepare Participating Health Centers (PHCs) to face multiple different common Cyber Security Threats and help them develop a framework to create threat-specific playbooks to streamline incident response within your organization. Don't miss this opportunity to prepare yourself for some of the most common threats against Health Centers in the modern world!

OBJECTIVES AND GOALS:

  1. Develop a comprehensive Incident Response Plan (IRP), which is crucial to helping Health Centers effectively respond to and ultimately withstand a Cyber Security attack.

  2. Establish a framework to help PHCs develop threat-specific playbooks to streamline incident response within their organizations.

  3. Educate PHCs on different types of Cyber Security attacks and provide structured discussion on the requirements and best practices for a response to each type of threat.

Attackers are taking advantage of traditionally unsecure medical devices and using these devices as a pivot point within an organization’s network. This can jeopardize patient safety by affecting operations in an unintended manner. This session will cover common weaknesses in medical devices, and strategies for securing devices connected to an organization’s network. In addition, this session will also help participants create their "Playbook" in the event a device is compromised.
