Telehealth 101: Navigating the Future of Healthcare Delivery

Join the West Virginia Primary Care Association in an exclusive, full-day training event, in collaboration with Totier Telehealth Partners and the national School-Based Health Alliance, as we delve into the essential components of implementing telehealth services. 

This specialized training is designed for healthcare providers and administrators, including those working in/with schools. The course will guide you through an overview of why telehealth is becoming an essential tool for delivery of health services and how telehealth programs are initiated and integrated to be effective and efficient. The curriculum will cover everything from initial development to measurable assessment to seamless implementation, ensuring long-term sustainability.  

Objectives and Goals:

  • Articulate a vision for using (telehealth) technology to increase access to healthcare  

  • Assess their organization’s telehealth readiness and capabilities, including barriers and opportunities  

  • Set strategic objectives for telehealth based on community and/or student needs and limitations   

  • Integrate accessible, easy-to-use technology to connect patients to care  

  • Describe telehealth workflows that integrate into existing models of care  


Target Audience: Community Health Center and School-Based Health Center professionals and administrators.

Cost: This training is being offered at only $75 per participant!

This event is only open to Community Health Center Staff.

Hotel Accommodations: The WVPCA has secured a room block with the Holiday Inn Express Charleston Civic Center at 100 Civic Center Drive, Charleston, WV, 25301. To access this group block call (304) 345-0600 and reference the West Virginia Primary Care Association. The group rate is $130.00 per night. To ensure access to this room block, make your reservations by May 13, 2023.

Cancelation Policy: Any refund requests before June 3, 2024 will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee. No refund will be issued after that date. Substitutions are allowed up to three (3) days prior to the event. Please be sure to provide contact information if a substitution is requested.
